Here is what the beach looked like on  March 18, 2011. It appears that the beach is in good shape at this time. At the same time, Robert Moses Field 5 beach to the West has suffered substantial loss of beach sand.

As of April 29, 2011, sand replenishment has begun at the beach of Robert Moses Field 5!
